Is A River Cruise Right For You?

I am sure, by now, you have seen at least one of our Facebook posts about river cruising. If not, go ahead and check those out when you get a second.

River cruising has been a lot on the trend recently…and for good reason, in my opinion. I think it is one of the best ways to travel…you get to see so many different areas in one trip, you only unpack once and everything is taken care of for you in advance. You literally don’t have to plan anything if you don’t want to. River cruises have different feels, rhythms, and styles than any other sailing modes. Nowadays, river cruises come with a whole package of fun things to do and see. Here are a few reasons why you should go on a river cruise.

All-inclusive experience:

Modern river cruises offer exceptional experiences, and it includes many features that make your trip luxurious and inclusive. Most river cruise lines also offer different pre- and post-trip airport transfers, hotel stays, and tour guides. You will get taste exclusive meals, cocktails, and wines. You truly get a full immersive experience.

It lets you visit exciting places:

The pace of a river cruise allows you to enjoy the interesting places fully. Because of its narrow and shape and small size, this ship can access regions and ports that other larger vessels cannot. River cruises not only make stops in larger cities along the way but they also dock in areas that you may not have visited on your own.

Luxury:

Does luxury sound good to you? Well, I think everyone deserves a little bit of luxury in their lives. River cruises offer many luxury services for you to take advantage of. On board, you get to enjoy full service with sought after wines and excellent food. The ships have spas, tasting rooms and live entertainment… but most importantly, in my opinion, the views you get to enjoy while cruising along are one of the most luxurious things about the whole experience.

Worldwide exploration:

You can go on a worldwide exploration of a river cruise. While river cruising is most popular in Europe, you can also plan to explore the Amazon River, the Nile River, or China’s Yangtze River. Simply look for your destination and see what’s is available.

Have a relaxed experience:

Want to get away from the bustling life of the city or everyday life? Hop on board a river cruise for an incredibly relaxed vacation. Everything is on your time- if you want to walk around at a port- go for it. If you want to relax in your cabin instead, go for it. The options are endless on a river cruise and you can tailor the experience to exactly what you want it to be. One important thing to note is that river cruises have much less people than a standard ocean cruise. Some river cruises only hold 60 people! Imagine all of the things you can experience and not have to worry about crowded areas and waiting for a table for dinner!

Now that you know a little bit more about the river cruise experience, do you think it is for you? There is only one way to find out! Reach out to me and let’s talk about the different experiences you can have!

(And if you want to join us on an epic river cruise experience, we just locked in a bunch of cabins on a river cruise through Vietnam and Cambodia in March 2023. Send me a message if you’d like to find out more about this one!)
